New Studio/New Owner Training

Opening a Paint Your Own Pottery Studio?

In addition to other benefits, we offer a comprehensive small group training several times a year. You will have the undivided attention and industry knowledge of our Resident Artist Tammy Gacek, Vice President of Sales Susan Rogers and Jaime Prohaska our Director of Marketing.

Our next New Studio Training date is 2/6/25 and 2/7/25. Registration is not yet open, but be sure to check back for updates!

You will learn the following:

  • Technical skills, general business tactics and life lessons gleaned from our highest performing studios

  • Product training on the use of glazes, kilns, dipping, silkscreens and more

  • Pottery and Specialty Glazing techniques

  • Easily taught project ideas that customers will love

  • How to efficiently/effectively use and maintain a kiln

  • Inventory basics and management

  • Pricing strategies and positioning for profit

  • Marketing ideas to build your business

  • Plenty of time to ask questions

  • and much more! 

Ongoing Support

And… it doesn’t end after you go home… We offer ongoing support - before, during and after you open. We want to help you every step of the way, because when you SUCCEED we SUCCEED!

The training atmosphere is relaxed and open, and we invite you to bring your energy, questions and concerns.

Please note:

This training is ideal for those wishing to open a Paint-Your-Own Studio (in the next 4 to 6 months) or have recently bought an existing studio over the last 4 to 6 months.

Seating is limited and is first come first serve until we sell out.

This training is for those 18 years of age or older.

Ticket price: There is a $200 fee per studio. Your ticket price will be reimbursed on your 1st order after the event and must meet minimum order size requirements.
